Overview :

Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 is a 2.5D real-time strategy computer game by Westwood Studios, which was released for Microsoft Windows on September 28, 2000 as the follow up to Command & Conquer: Red Alert. Set in the early 1970s,[2] Red Alert 2 supposedly picks up at the conclusion of the Allied campaign of the first game.

Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2 contains 2 playable factions, Soviets and Allies which both previously appeared in Command Conquer: Red Alert. Red Alert 2′s single player campaign is structured in an alternate-ending mode as opposed to a progressive story mode.Unfortunately, getting specific logistical tactics to work is tricky with the tiny sprite units (even more difficult in higher resolutions) and you’ll eventually find it difficult to grab the right units to throw at the bad guys without inevitably making sloppy moves, flawed waypoint system notwithstanding. Both single-player campaigns build up with complexity and entertainment in typical RTS fashion while the multiplayer modes make for some great heated bouts of pride.

Story:

Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 contains two distinct story lines depending on which faction the player wishes to play as. Both of the story lines differ in several distinct ways. However, the Allied story line is canon due to the way in which the expansion pack continues.Wielding strange new technologies and hungering for revenge, the Soviet Empire invades America. New York City and Washington are overwhelmed. Allied forces, unprepared for the surprise attack, are decimated. It’s like playing Doom II, watching another season of The X-Files, or listening to a new Oasis album – nothing is too innovative, too shiny, or too confusing. Everything feels familiar to millions while being just slightly different enough to dish out a good time for all. Yes, it’s “comfort food” that entertains you and with what seems like the 403rd installment in the Command & Conquer series, Westwood successfully believes in the old adage of reaching a man’s heart through his stomach.

Indeed, the immediate gut instinct while loading up Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 is that it’s often difficult to tell it apart from the original game made almost five years before. Same isometric 2D view, same resource management, same tiny unit sprites, same regurgitated real-time strategy (RTS) tricks. But, for some reason, mainly due to small, yet effective gobs of spit and polish, it’s a blast. How exactly did that happen?

Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 continues where the 1996 original left off. That alternate World War II had the Soviets contained, but now a new, last-minute danger has arisen with mind-control machinations and an invasion straight into the American capital. Not to put too fine a point on it, “red” in this context still equals “evil,” but no one really takes the game’s premises seriously, do they?

Of course they don’t. Which is proven more now than ever before, helped in part by the overly camp, full-motion video briefings that, despite trying so hard to be taken lightly, make you want to laugh at them, not with them. Northern Exposure’s Barry Corbin tries his best to make certain his good old Yankee patriotism is understood while Sliders’ Kari Wuhrer’s physical attributes are amply displayed in every clip she graces.

But, instead of shooting themselves in the foot by taking such an unquestionably silly premise as Russian airships flying into New York City with the straightest of narrative tones, the video segments are shot with a “we know you know that it’s all just a lark anyway” attitude. This is both refreshing and grating at the same time but it works – in a way.

Allied campaign

The Allied story line begins with a special forces team led by Special Agent Tanya being sent to New York City to repel the Soviet invasion there. The player, with help from Tanya, successfully repels the Soviet invasion of New York City. Tanya and the Commander are then sent to Colorado Springs to liberate the Air Force Academy and the air base there. When returning home victorious from the battle, it is discovered that a Soviet mind control device known as the Psychic Beacon, a device that can mind-control the population of entire cities, has been deployed in Washington, D.C..

Soviet campaign

The Soviet storyline begins with the player being briefed by Premier Alexander Romanov about the upcoming Soviet invasion of the United States of America. Romanov tells the player that the first priority is the destruction of the headquarters of the American military, the Pentagon. The Commander carries out this order, leading an invasion into Washington, D.C. and destroying the Pentagon. Another Soviet invasion is launched into Florida to destroy the American fleet there, which was threatening the Soviet invasion of the East Coast. Even though the Commander is almost fully responsible for these victories, all the credit goes to the top Soviet commander, General Vladimir. Yuri recommends that the player captures New York City with a Psychic Beacon, a device that can mind-control the population of entire cities, while Vladimir is in Moscow celebrating so that Yuri and the “Comrade General” can also get some fame and glory.

Gameplay:

Every aspect of gameplay in the game is based on the collection of money. In the game, money can be collected by several means. The most common is using Miner trucks to gather Ore and/or Gems and transport them to a Refinery. A player can also gain a lasting income by capturing Oil derricks (neutral buildings that are present in some maps). There also are two one-time sources of money, namely collecting random crates which are present in the map and selling off buildings which are controlled by the player. The money is spent on constructing and repairing buildings and units. In both cases one can start construction before having the full cost in one’s reserves, as construction pauses if one runs short of money. There are five types of “constructor” building: Construction Yard (for buildings); Barracks (non-mechanized units); War Factory (mechanized units); Shipyard (naval units), and, only for the Allies, Air Force Command (Harriers or Black Eagles). At any point in the game one can construct a maximum of one building/unit in each category—having more “constructor” buildings simply speeds up production.

The various nations are members of either the Soviet or the Allied faction. It is also the first C&C RTS not to include a mission select screen prior to levels that change the conditions of the next level. In single-player mode, the player can either compete in one of three campaigns or compete in Skirmish mode where he/she can battle with his/her own rules and settings.Red Alert 2 contains three campaigns. Boot Camp, Allied, and Soviet. Each campaign is distinct in its own way.

Red Alert 2 includes two different multi-player modes. One, LAN allows the player to play alongside friends and others without the use of an internet connection. The other, Online Play allows the player to play across the internet and against players from across the globe.

Rated :

Red Alert 2 received almost all positive reviews, with IGN calling it outstanding and GamePro’s Editor’s Choice.IGN 9.3/10 .Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 is the best 2D real-time strategy game since Starcraft.Gamespot rated 8.5/10 .

Modern Warfare

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is a first-person shooter video game, developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision for Mac OS X, PlayStation 3, Windows, and Xbox 360. The game was released in North America, Australia, and Europe in November 2007 for video game consoles and Windows, and it was released for the Mac in September 2008. It is the fourth installment in the Call of Duty video game series, excluding expansion packs. The game breaks away from the World War II setting of previous games in the series and is instead set in modern times. Call of Duty 4 was in development for two years, and it uses a proprietary game engine. A sequel to Call of Duty 4 titled Modern Warfare 2 is due for release on November 10, 2009.

Call of Duty 4 as a whole, beside the gameplay and the story, has some of the best graphics I have seen in a next-gen game so far. My gripes and complaints from last year are finally being satiated. The experience is very cinematic, and it really pulls you into the game.

What, on the other hand, pulls you RIGHT out of the game is the AI. There are two circumstances in particular which drove me bat-shit crazy in the game. And these did just enough crazy-causing on my part to make me think that this isn’t worth a full 5/5“ now bare with me.

The biggest complaint about the AI is the fact that its constantly respawnable. If you want to take your time down that alley, taking that house, or rooftop the game will damn well let you take your time forever. Thats right. You can sit back and snipe all you want, but unless you charge superhero style headlong into that next room your guys arent going to do it, and the enemy isn’t just going to dry up. I cant tell you how many times I was stuck being shot at from all directions and thinking I’ll just take a few guys out then move up a little bit, only to have more take their place immediately. One of the biggest offenders (as far as situations go) is taking the TV studio.

The game was given considerable praise, receiving an aggregated score of 94% from both Game Rankings and Metacritic. The gameplay, multiplayer, and story received particular praise, while criticism targeted what was perceived as an inability to revolutionize the first-person shooter genre. The game won numerous awards from gaming websites, including IGN’s Best Xbox 360 Game. It was the top-selling game worldwide for 2007, reaching over seven million copies by January 2008, and over 13 million by May 2009.

Weapons :

The game’s move to modern warfare introduces new weapons and technology to the Call of Duty franchise, including the M4A1 carbine, the M203 grenade launcher, the AN/PEQ-2 Target Pointer for use in conjunction with night vision goggles, the MP5SD submachine gun, and the FGM-148 Javelin portable anti-tank guided missile.Players also have additional abilities, including a grenade launcher attachment, claymores with tripwire-like detonation (appears as a V-shaped motion sensor laser in-game), C-4, night-vision goggles, and the ability to call in airstrikes.A character can be positioned in one of three stances: standing, kneeling, or prone; each affecting the character’s rate of movement, accuracy, and stealth. Using cover helps the player avoid enemy fire or recover health after taking significant damage, as there are no armor or health powerups. When the character has taken damage, the edges of the screen glow red and the character’s heartbeat increases.

Plot:

The story unfolds with the televised execution of President Al-Fulani somewhere in the Middle East (no specific location is mentioned). You play the roles of John “Soap” MacTavish of the 22nd SAS Regiment and Paul Jackson of the USMC 1st Force Recon in attempts to quell an ultranationalist revolution aiming to restore the former Soviet Union. Imran Zakhaev, his son Victor, Kahled Al-Asad, and an unnamed second-in-command to the latter, together known as “The Four Horsemen,” must be eliminated. Espionage, airstrikes, nuclear detonations, and millions of empty shell casings ensue.

There are so many moments in this game that I have found to elicit school-boy glee. In one of the first USMC scenes, you make use of the Javelin anti-tank weapon. I’m sure fellow fans of “Future Weapons” got a kick out of that. Early showings of the game at E3 depicted ghillie-suited snipers in the Chernobyl disaster zone, infiltrating enemy lines. Stealth is rewarded immensely in that sequence and you eventually man a .50-caliber sniper rifle at a range of nearly a kilometer. However, the best part, by far, is when you are put into the gunner seat of an AC-130 “Spooky” Gunship. Through a thermal imaging camera, you are tasked with protecting the SAS squad on the ground using a 25mm gatling gun, a 40mm Bofors cannon, and a 105mm howitzer.Something foul is afoot in Russia and Britain’s Special Air Service knows it. Confirmation comes in the form of a nuclear warhead discovered during a nighttime tanker raid in stormy waters, the first true combat mission in the game.

Engaging the Enemy in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

Modern Warfare’s well-crafted narrative would be nothing without the action-packed missions that back it up. This is a game after all. Compared with Infinity Ward’s previous World War II-era Call of Duty games (the first and second, but not the third), Modern Warfare offers more open environments, more intelligent opposition and, best of all, some much-needed variety to break up the territorial battles of the previous games.

Mission goals are incredibly varied. You’ll rescue a variety of endangered friendlies, fight your way from house to house in search of a specific target, cut through heavy concentrations of enemy forces to reach an extraction point and even sneak through a crumbling city in a flashback sniper mission to Soviet Russia. And that’s just a relatively spoiler-free sampling of events from the first half of the game.

In addition, you put your character’s military training to use in a variety of ways within each mission. Forget the ‘cineractive’ button-pressing sequences of the last game, developed by Treyarch; Infinity Ward takes things in a completely different direction here. It’s telling that one of your first tasks in the game following the tanker raid is providing sniper support as friendly forces storm a heavily defended area. You’re not always the one to be leading the charge this time around. In addition, an impressive array of feats can be performed via D-pad button assignments; we saw air support requests, claymore mines, night vision goggles, secondary fire grenade launchers and more mapped to it during various missions.

There are also several on-rails shooting sequences which show up in just the right places to break up the run-and-gun. The most technically impressive of these is the oft-mentioned AC-130 mission, with three different turrets to choose from and convincing black and white visuals of the action on the ground. What’s more, these sections are just as challenging as the rest of the game. Rather than letting you catch your breath from the relative safety of your helicopter turret, Infinity Ward instead presents you with a differently flavored type of challenge during these on-rails sequences, a refreshing change for a mechanic which is too often used in other games as filler material.

Even Modern Warfare’s more “standard” run-and-gun missions impress, with multiple routes to a single objective or multiple objectives in an open space. The most important thing you’ll learn early on is that sticking with your fellow troops is tremendously valuable. They won’t always follow when you want to, but there’s nothing worse than storming an enemy-held building only to discover that friendly forces are not behind you to provide backup. Cue the re-spawn.

Whenever you do find that your allies are nowhere to be seen, it’s usually because they’re engaged elsewhere. The A.I. on both sides of the conflict is sharp and aggressive, particularly on the game’s Hardened difficulty setting or higher. In fact, it’s fair to say that Normal is too easy for most hardcore gamers. Any complaints which crop up about Call of Duty 4′s short length will likely come from those who set the difficulty too low. On average, Modern Warfare’s single player campaign should take most seasoned gamers between eight and 10 hours to complete. Finishing the game makes cheats available (which are individually unlocked by finding up to 30 hidden ‘enemy intel’ items scattered throughout the game) as well as a scored Arcade Mode in which the number of re-spawns is limited and every mission is timed.

Game engine

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare runs on a proprietary engine with features that include true world-dynamic lighting, HDR lighting effects, dynamic shadows and depth of field. “Bullet Penetration” is calculated by the engine, taking into account factors such as surface type and entity thickness. The game runs in a native resolution of 600p for its console versions.

Certain objects, such as cars and some buildings, are destructible. This makes distinguishing cover from concealment important, as the protection provided by objects such as wooden fences and thin walls do not completely protect players from harm. Bullet speed and stopping power are decreased after penetrating an object, and the decrease is dependent on the thickness and surface type of the object. The game makes use of a dynamic physics engine, not implemented in previous Call of Duty titles. Death animations are a combination of pre-set animations and ragdoll physics. Console versions of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare run at a consistent 60 frames per second. Code was included to determine spawning points based on the nearby weapons, and enemy positions and line of sight. The various criteria are meant to minimize players dying immediately after rejoining a match, or being “spawn-killed” due to players simply waiting for players to “respawn”.

The game engine has also been used for the development of two other Activision games. An enhanced version of the original engine was used in Call of Duty: World at War, the fifth installment in the Call of Duty series after Call of Duty 4, while a slightly altered version has been used for the James Bond video game Quantum of Solace.

Square-Enix has announced a new MMORPG based on the Final Fantasy series, Final Fantasy XIV Online, for PC and PlayStation 3.It was announced at some point during Sony’s 18-and-a-half hour press conference at E3. The trailer is available online,I think the main issue people are having is this: where is Final Fantasy XIII? How about Square Enix release that game before it goes and announces the next one?

And unless Final Fantasy XIV is demonstrably better than Final Fantasy XI, to say nothing of that pesky game called World of Warcraft.

FINAL FANTASY XIII (with English voices, cool~ can’t wait!)

FINAL FANTASY XIV (watch it to believe it..)

Final Fantasy fans will be delighted to find out it’s being being worked on by longtime Final Fantasy vets; produced by Hiromichi Tanaka, directed by Nobuaki Komoto, art directed by Akihiko Yoshida and with music done by none other than Nobuo Uematsu. The release date is sometime in 2010.

Unfortunately, the site is slow, probably kayo’ed by massive traffic. Let us know what you think of a new Final Fantasy MMORPG.Final Fantasy IV is amazing in my opinion, it’s the second Final Fantasy game I’ve ever had so I cant tell u in comparison how good it is but i really really like it.

The company also shocked the audience at the Shrine Auditorium by showing a quick clip from that game’s followup, Final Fantasy XIV. It appears to be an MMORPG, due to a final slide that referred to the game as Final Fantasy XIV. Online. No further details were given.0

Nintendo finished its E3 keynote a little yesterday and after being bored half to death by some of the less interesting announcements, Nintendo announced not only Super Mario Galaxy 2 but also a new Metroid game called Metroid: Other M.

This game is not another Metroid Prime game and it’s not being developed by Retro Studios. Instead, this looks like a side scrolling Metroid game much like the original Metroid and the popular Super Metroid.Metroid Other M seems to be a hybrid firstperson meets thirdperson action title and will be released in 2010. Finally, we were treated to a taste of a Super Mario Galaxy sequel. Super Mario Galaxy 2 features more 3D Mario action.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 was also announced, starring not only Mario but finally brings back his dinosaur steed Yoshi. If you haven’t seen the trailers for these games I recommend you look them up on the Internet. You won’t regret it.Nintendo also confirmed an updated version of the Wii Fit, called the Wii Fit Plus (trailer), due out this fall. A full list of Nintendo’s announcements is available, which includes more games and new features.

The new 2D Super Mario Bros. which looks and plays like the original but adds new twists to the mix. The biggest addition we know so far is the ability to have up to four people playing together co-operativity. Team work looks to be the key in figuring out puzzles in this game with everyone controlling a different character. So far we have seen Mario and Luigi and multi-colored Toad people but no Princess Peach or Bowser. Also everyone can get their own Yoshi dinosaur to beat on the head! This time around Mario has the help of his long time friend, Yoshi, to explore the galaxy with him. Expect the same gorgeous brain twisting 3D planet puzzles with a graphical upgrade as well.

If you didn’t get a chance to check out the trailer for Metroid: Other M, here’s a video that’s already been posted on YouTube. It’s from Nintendo’s E3 keynote, the quality is iffy but shows off what the game is about.
Team Ninja teams up with Nintendo to bring us a brand new Metroid game in 2010. Metroid Other M is a step in a different direction from the previous generations of Metroid games mixing third-person fighter style action along with first-person shooter perspectives. Reggie promises that the new title will take us deeper into the Metroid universe and reveal more of Samus’ story. From what we saw it’s very action packed and visually stunning and topping the rest of Nintendo’s presentation.

Sony’s new handheld is indeed called PSP Go and has up to 16GB of flash memory and Bluetooth support for tethering to mobile phones. One of the worst-kept tech secrets of recent times has finally been outed

That’s according to Sony’s own Qore gaming show, the latest episode of which was posted prematurely and then yanked, but not before the internet pounced on it.Although it’s not clear if the Wi-Fi link has been retained. The top of the PSP Go slides up to reveal controls underneath, including just one analogue joystick. It seems likely that a Memory Stick slot will be included to augment the 16GB of flash memory.

Old PSP to stay

Significantly, the Go will not replace the standard PSP 3000 – that will remain on sale, so it’ll be interesting to see how Sony positions the pair and how much the newcomer will cost when it goes official at E3 this week.

The biggest change comes with the overall design as it now is a slick, sliding gadget, smaller in size, slimmer, but also much lighter (about 43%) thanks to the omission of the UMD drive. Additionally, the screen has been shrunk to just 3.8″ and the handheld now sports 16GB of built-in flash memory. Bluetooth technology is included, though its use is not yet apparent. All in all, it looks pretty good, on paper. But is it?

Personally, I simply cannot see who Sony intends to market this to. What does it have for 100% new users? It’s a little more compact, but if people were not compelled to buy a PSP before, is that enough to entice them now? On the other hand, there’s the existing install base, and things look slightly worse for them. Their existing UMD library is rendered unplayable, the screen size is smaller and even the design may have sacrificed some comfort in order to become that much more compact.

Even as a mere test for digital distribution handhelds, it strikes me as 100% unnecessary as Sony could simply and efficiently test that by pushing the actual service more. Release more games, advertise the service, add $5-10 discounts compared to the store-bought copies, see the percentage of users that end up biting and gauge how it can be applied to the future handheld models. A new PSP SKU was simply not needed as the current PSP models are perfectly capable of downloading games and most every user must have a memory stick by now, thanks to the already available digital content. I’m certainly very curious about the marketing’s direction and the resulting sales. Surprise me, Sony!

E3 is just a few days away right?

Here’s a comparison of the PSP Go vs PSP Phat. Sure the screen is smaller but not by a lot. The differences in the layout is quite remarkable though. The original PSP buttons are gone (display, sound, volume) but the new interface is actually much more appealling.

The only issues that I see with the new PSP hardware is the proximity of the back of the screen to the shoulder buttons. If you’re too close, you’ll end up rubbing your fingers against it making gameplay irritable. Then there’s the size. From experience, past PSP models are admittedly bulky, not because of their weight but because of their width. Because of the orientation of the controls (on both sides of the PSP), your hands tend to hold the unit there making the bulk issue. The PSP Go has it’s controls at the bottom of the unit, making it feel much more like holding a controller but it’s still a matter of personal preference.

I personally can’t wait to get my hands on one of these and test it out. If they come out before I get my hands on my next PSP purchase, I’ll no doubt get one pronto. If not for the curves of the hardware, then it’s the 16 GB onboard memory. Yes, the PSP Go uses onboard memory AND it has a slot for your Sony Memory Stick.

And here’s the requisite PSP Go vs Nintendo DSi comparison.

The question on current PSP gamers’ minds is probably the one concerned about porting their CURRENT UMDs to the PSP Go. My guess is Sony will provide digital version downloads for us via the PSN instead of a converter. It’s much more efficient and user friendly but the trade off is bandwidth.

The world’s most deadly fighting force is back in all new multiplayer combat, as action game developer and publisher NovaLogic Inc. announced on 26TH May the release of Delta Force: Xtreme 2 (DFX2) game for the PC. The sequel to the bestselling Delta Force: Xtreme is supported by the NovaWorld Community, a multiplayer network that provides smoother, faster and seamless gameplay for up to 150* players per game. With 10 single-player missions and nine co-op missions within two campaigns, players immerse themselves into the Delta Force experience by battling enemies in Asia.

DFX2 offers intense military gameplay in stunning 1080p “Full HD” and Dolby 7.1 Surround sound, and with game servers placed strategically around the world, the NovaWorld Community provides the gameplay that fans demand. Featuring 20 content-rich multiplayer maps, DFX2 supports five of the most popular game types: Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Team King of the Hill, Capture the Flag, and Flagball. Each detailed map will have something for everyone, from large, vehicle heavy battlefields to small, intense engagement zones. In addition to the feature-loaded multiplayer experience, gamers of all skill levels can mix it up in two heart-pounding single-player or co-operative campaigns where players assume the role of a Delta Force operator sent to Asia to bring a drug cartel and former Soviet mercenaries to justice.

The NovaWorld Community allows every element of the gameplay, from the enhanced ballistics to the innovative in-vehicle spawn system, to be carefully coordinated to support a fully balanced experience where teamwork is deadlier than individual firepower, and in DFX2, intelligence and creativity are rewarded as much as fast-twitch reflexes. The game also ships with a powerful MED level editor, which will allow gamers full utilization of game assets to create their own levels, including additional multiplayer game types.

Bloomberg reports that pirated versions of EA’s The Sims 3 were downloaded over 180,000 times between May 18 and May 21.

Ok, so I know a lot of people think The Sims is the dumbest game ever, but there are even more people who think it is the most amazing game ever invented. I am a Sims junkie! There I said it! I am a total nerd when it comes to Simulation and RPG games. I invested in The Sims 1 and 2, and part 3 is expected to be THE best. I remember when The Sims 1 was released in the year 2000, I thought it was the greatest idea since potato chips. By 2002, it had sold more than 6.3 million copies and over 16 million copies by 2005, making it the best selling PC game in history…yes HISTORY! What does that say about the game? It is both addictive and never ending. I would just like to say, thank you Will Wright. Thank goodness it will be released for the summer, that way I will have plenty of time to play it before school start back up in September.

For those who don’t know (sadly) the Sims is basically a virtual world where you play as God (not literally) but in the sense that you control you characters destiny. Everything they do, from eating, building homes, sleeping, going to work, and having babies you control it. And that was the basic concept with the first game, it allowed you to do the necessary. The second game, The Sims 2 released in 2004, and again was a record selling debut. In 2008, Electronic Arts celebrated it’s 100 million copies sold mark. What a feat! In comparison to The Sims 1, both the graphics and gampeplay had dramatically improved. The images were much more life-like compared to the choppy, boxy looking characters of The Sims 1. The Sims could now produce babies with genetic traits of their parents, character’s body shape affected by their diet, more food choices, The Sims now pass through six life stages, the houses are built on foundations, and there was more access to different career choices.

Now, I can’t give much of an opinion on The Sims 3 because it’s not out yet, but I can tell you a few facts about the new game. I would say the biggest improvement is the ability to explore the world outside your home and not have to wait minutes in between with loading screens. There are more careers, more house plan options, a movie making tool that will enable the player to create and share movies on The Sims 3 exchange, using footage form their own game, and the list goes on. You can pretty much do anything you want as in real life.

Here is the official trailer for The Sims 3…
“Just imagine, if you had lived your entire life inside your house, and then someone opens the door”

As part of the company’s announcement of financial results for its just-concluded fiscal year, Ubisoft has announced release windows for its full line-up through the end of March 2010.

Highlights on the list include Q3 (November 2009 to December2009) releases for Assassin’s Creed 2, which Ubi prez Yves Guillemot says will cost 20 percent more than the original and be a much bigger game;
Here’s the break down:

Q3 Releases (November 2009 to December 2009)

Assassins Creed 2

  Splinter Cell: Conviction

  Red Steel 2

  Rabbids Go Home

Shaun White Snowboarding: World Stage

  James Cameron’s Avatar

  Academy of Champions

Q4 Releases (January 2010 to March 2010)

Ghost Recon 4

I Am Alive

  R.U.S.E.

I am a little disssapointed that there is no listing for Beyond Good and Evil 2. The report doesn’t delve too far into 2010 so let’s hope it’ll pop up in Q1 next year.

We still have no idea why it’s taken Sam Fisher so long to return to us, but at least now we have a better idea of when he’ll be back.

The full list, as found in a slide presentation to investors, can be found after the jump.

Given that there have been no press announcements and only a limited number of media assets released recently for the title after a long hiatus to reshape the game the quiet release next month looks unlikely. However, since the economic downturn has made less money available for advertising budgets Ubisoft could be leaving everything to the last minute. We expect to see movement on this story in the coming weeks .
